My flight leaves very shortly on the way to Chicago. It is exciting to be back in the States, but sad at the same time. I hate these bitter-sweet moments.
Although it is good to be legal again (coming as a missionary to India is illegal)...
Coming into India is always easy... getting out, not so much. I.E:
1) I had to pay for extra lbs for my luggage (my fault)
2) Air India could not find my name in their system
3) Lufthansa could not find my name in their system
4) I almost missed my flight
5) I dashed through the airport
6) Lost my luggage for about 30 minutes
7) Sat in the wrong seat
The overseas curse has come back. I thought it had finally left me; however, to my dismay it has not. Please pray that it does not strike once more.
I already miss India. The people. The sounds.
I thought I heard Luke laughing on the plane and I searched everywhere for him. It's sad to leave Abby, Gabe and Luke. They were such an encouragement to me when I was stressed with work.
It's also sad to leave Rachel and Amol. I learned so much from them in just the short amount of time i was there...
Here's to another eight hour flight...

ReplyDeleteYou were such a blessing to us this past week. Thanks for all your patience with the kids. I am glad Luke never pushed THAT button that just deletes the entire file...it happens!
We are in the process of waiting on all your "projects" to come back from the printer...it should be anyday now...since we leave in 6!
Your dedication to the "not-so-fun" tasks you were given was amazing to us. I do not have the grace to sit in front of a computer for days at a time...but then again I do not get to do that either!
You have made an AMAZING video for our ministry and we are so excited to take it and share your view of what we do. Your time and gifts sown into our ministry is going to reap a great harvest of prayer and support this fall. THANK YOU!!!
